Know Your Start Date
Each Study Abroad program has a specific start date - this is the day you should plan to arrive in your host city (Spain or Argentina). Be sure to book a flight that lands on your official program start date.
We’ll be expecting you - and we’ve got your arrival covered!

Airport Pickup & Shuttle Service
To make your arrival stress-free, Expanish provides airport shuttle service throughout the day on your start date.
Here’s how it works:
We’ll have scheduled pickup windows at the airport based on typical arrival times.
Our team or a designated shuttle coordinator will greet you and guide you to your transportation.
The shuttle will take you directly to your pre-arranged housing.
✨ Don’t worry - you’ll get clear instructions and all the details by email before your departure.

Arrival at Housing
Once you arrive at your housing:
A housing coordinator or shuttle staff will explain how to get to the Expanish Study Center.
You’ll have time to unpack, relax, and get settled before heading to orientation.

Orientation at the Expanish Study Center
On the evening of your arrival day, we’ll host an in-person Orientation Session at Expanish - your home base while abroad! This session is essential and will include:
A guided tour of the Expanish Study Center
Your class schedule
Important information on academics, housing, safety, and cultural tips
Meet-and-greet with staff and fellow students
📍 Orientation will help you feel comfortable and confident as you begin your program.

Welcome Dinner
After orientation, get ready to celebrate your first night abroad! Join us for a Welcome Dinner where you’ll:
Enjoy delicious local cuisine
Meet other students and start making friends
Get a taste of local culture from Day 1!

What to Bring on Day One
To make the most of your first day, we recommend bringing:
A small notebook or planner
Your passport and any important documents

We’re excited to welcome you to Expanish and help you make the most of every moment from the very start!
